What are Home Watch Services?

Home watch is a visual inspection of a home or property looking for obvious issues. We are not a property management company. Whenever you’re away, either long term for the season or just for shorter time periods, our job is to provide you with a peace of mind that your home is taken care of.

Services:
We make regular home watch visits to your home or condo. In the event we find something that is out of normal condition we’ll contact you by phone, text, or e-mail to let you know and discuss how to solve the problem for you. It will always be your choice and decision for service providers, however if you don’t have or know of a service provider, we will be happy to help you get estimates from licensed, bonded, and insured providers.

A Basic Home Watch Inspection Includes:

• We verify all doors and windows are properly secure to minimize the chance of a break-ins.
• We check for evidence of water leaks or damage, and check for visual signs of mold and mildew.
• We look for signs of insects and or rodents.
• We make sure the A/C is cooling and reset the thermostat settings if needed.
• We run faucets, sinks, disposals, and flush toilets.
• We check to make sure the irrigation system is working.
• We make sure the main water valve is turned off after each inspection, unless otherwise requested by client.
• We check the electric panel for tripped breakers and make sure electric water heater breaker is turned off.
• We perform a visual inspection throughout your property including garage.
• We walk the exterior perimeter of single-family homes to check pool condition, screening, signs of vandal.

Here are some of the other tasks we can do for you:

• We are your key holder in your absence.
• We can let repair persons in for maintenance or unplanned visits.
• We can take deliveries for you, or let friends and family members in that don’t have a key.
• We can provide mailbox checks and mail forwarding.
• We can provide an emergency response after hours for alarms, police or fire responses.
• We can set out and put away your garbage cans.
• We can open and close your home before and after the hot summer snowbird season.
• We can check on your vehicle.
• We can make storm damage inspections.
